CatCH offers free afterschool and summer programs for St. Johnsbury youth in grades 1โ8. Open to all students โ public, independent, or home-schooled.
Our vision: youth and families who feel more connected to their community, their school, and the breadth of ways people can keep their minds and bodies active.
Headquartered at St. Johnsbury School, CatCH brings teachers from the school, surrounding communities, and institutions like the Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium, Catamount Arts, and the NorthWoods Stewardship Center.

Four days a week, students enjoy snack, choice time, and a dedicated hour-long program of their choosing โ from karate to drama to science. Programs meet the same day each week throughout the session.
Our summer program runs July 6 โ August 7. Choose a 3-week or 5-week option. Days are packed with literacy, math, recess, team building, and extended project time โ especially for older students.
Good to know: If school is not in session for students, CatCH is not in session โ this includes staff inservice days, holidays, and weather cancellations. CatCH does not meet on early-release days unless a special program is scheduled.
Registration opens at least 3 weeks before each session. Watch for a text, email, sign at the front desk, Facebook post, or the weekly Catamount Update.
Regular CatCH programs are completely free for families thanks to support from the school district and federal grants, including the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program.
While there is no charge, donations are welcome and help us offer more diverse activities. Make checks payable to "St. Johnsbury School District" with "CatCH" in the memo line.
